What do you know about brazilian music?

Well, I think i know some. Thats why I'm creating a section on the blog called
"Album of the week"!
Thats a pretty popular section, but since I'm working with iit right now I thinked that this would be something nice to do!
The first album fo the week is "Tim maia - Racional"...

From one of the best brazilian funk singers and producers, Tim maia, that had all his musical education in the US and bringed to Brazil a lot of influences of the funk scene of the time.
This album is one of the clearest examples. This album was dedicated to one religious movement called "Racional intelligence" created by one north american that basically was giving an explanation to all the universe, creation, god and all that yadda-yadda that these guys create just to have your money. He wrote a book called "Universe in disenchantment" that is citated various times in this album.
Once Tim Maia got in his right mind again and saw that it was just a scam, he never more sang ANY song from this album!
That's sad since I think thats the best album coming from him.
